Calendar integration: I spent several months on this earlier, to the point that the basic reading and writing of events works (though the UI for this is hidden from the currently shipping version). But this turns out to be a quite complex problem, particularly dealing with issues of recurring appointments, time zones, processing event requests, etc. I've decided that in the short run, it is more important to get one set of features (email and address book) working well and reliably, rather than add calendar and have everything working unreliably.

But I am very close on email. Probably in the first half of 2013 I will get back to calendar. I am considering using the existing Exchanger Provider extension (which is GPL) and doing a custom version of that extension to work with the ExQuilla backend to provide a seamless experience. But I may still just do it as part of ExQuilla.

Notification of new mail: I have received other reports of this as well, but have had a hard time reproducing. New mail management is the Thunderbird backend is unfortunately quite a mess, independent of ExQuilla. Still I will be trying to understand this in the future, but it is a lower priority than some other issues at the moment.

Dmitri: "This addon working in version 15 thunderbird, but not working in 16" It should be working in TB 16. What operating system are you using? What version of ExQuilla?

Kent, this is fantastic - I've been trying to find a Linux client for EWS and Evolution just flat out does not work at all for me. ExQilla pulled up my inbox on the first shot.

    Dmitrii,

I tested once more ExQuilla 17 with Tb 16, and it seems to work for me on Windows 7. What do you mean by "does not work at all for me"? Does the addon load? Do you see the tools/ExQuilla for Microsoft Exchange menu item? If you do, then please get the ExQuilla log file there and send relevant portions to me that show the failure to load.

There are some crash issues associated with using message filters on ExQuilla accounts that should be resolved in the next version. Are you using message filters?

Generally, if you are having crashes it would be good to report the crash ID that you are getting from Mozilla. The history of these can be seen by setting about:crashes as you default page.

The errors that you are showing are mostly associated with GAL searches for addresses, and are nuisance errors that do not affect the operation.
